Search and Rescue world
How to get up in the middle of the night with the smile on your face and lie in the hideout at minus 10 degrees Centigrade …
The main responsible person of my intoxication with this K9 work is my veterinary colleague. He invited me during my studies in Ljubljana to see how the search & rescue trainings looks alike. When i joined my first SAR training that cold night, I didn’t knew that it would change my lifestyle. After a few hours I was already “infected” with the virus called SAR (search & rescue). Beside very interesting and variegated work, one of the main reason to persist in these “way of life” was a group of very enthusiastic people who helped each other and acted really as a very good team, without any rivalry. I was growing through trainings and exams and developing myself . My teacher Vera & the whole K9 team played the key role in this growth.
Now, after 10 years of my K9 work, Vera & the whole team are still there for me to support me in my K9 work & as friends.
Now I am working to achieve the title of SAR instructor.
